Six months = six seconds

Six months have passed like six seconds. I have been working as the head of IT department at this Fintech company for the last six month, since I arrived at the Tashkent International Airport from Turkey [I also noticed I haven't posted much since then].

I needed money so much that I buried myself in a load of work :D. In fact, the job itself has been interesting enough for me to focus on the job and have time for nothing else [except my Arabic classes].

Why was it so interesting? Because I had so many things to learn here. Even this is still IT industry, at Amazon I was mainly in Telecom. Here, I am in software development [building apps like PayPal]. Different experience. Different team. Different culture. A lot of things to learn, and enough space to grow [however, there are still some aspects of corporate Uzbek culture that I still cannot get used to. I will maybe write more about it some other time inshaallah].

Anyway. I just figured I haven't shared much for the past half a year. So, this is a little update from me that I am doing okay alhamdulillah [as usual😉 ].
